About the Organisation

Based in Cardiff and London, we create, curate and share content. We do this via events, social media, digital and print. We produce events that we own and events for customers. We publish in print and online.

Our events include The NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Integrated LIVE and GDPR Conference Europe, while other video projects include the likes of Redrow, Kidney Wales and more.

Job Description

If you are looking for a boring, dead-end experience which is monotonous and has no opportunity for development, you’ve come to the wrong place!

We are currently looking for an ambitious video content apprentice, who will become a valuable member of our growing marketing and events agency based in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will not only have the chance to learn new skills and work as part of a dynamic team, they will earn as they learn by working on a number of exciting, high-profile projects including award ceremonies and conferences. Their primary role will be to assist the senior videographer in the delivery of video content to clients and for internal projects. The successful candidate may also be called upon for a small amount of graphic design work.

The perfect applicant should:

  • Have some familiarity with video editing software, or, basic video editing skills
  • Have a creative flair
  • Possess a keen eye for detail
  • Have some familiarity with design software, or, basic design skills (not essential)
  • Be able to prioritise workloads
  • Be comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Have great communication skills
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude to work
  • Be resourceful
  • Not be afraid to ask questions
  • Be self-motivated

A typical day will include the following:

  • Liaising with clients to organise filming sessions
  • Creative planning
  • Editing
  • Contributing creative ideas to proposals
  • Assisting senior videographer at filming sessions
  • Assisting the senior designer

Framework

Whilst working for Amplified Business Content you will be completing a 12-month Level 3 Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media.

Wage

The exact salary for this role is £4.50 per hour (the National Minimum Wage for apprentices is £3.50).
