On March 1st, St David’s Day, we held a night of celebration at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff to recognise the success of our apprentices over the past few years.
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to hold a celebration of the like since 2019 due to covid restrictions – so there was a lot of excitement in the Sgil Cymru office in anticipation for the big night!
The night began with an opportunity to chat in the foyer at Chapter, before everyone was moved into the cinema. After a word from Sue Jeffries and a screening of our showreel, our special guest for the evening got up to speak – Dawn Bowden MS (Deputy Minister for the Arts and Sport) before the ‘Locketts’ went out to our graduating apprentices.
Then, back out to the foyer again for some more networking, drinking, catching up…and cake!
A fantastic evening!
We would like to thank everyone for joining us. Also a big thank you to our sponsors for the evening – Real SFX, Cymru Greadigol, Creative Risk Solutions and Lockett TV & Film Transport.
There is a video below of the evening with a selection of photographs. A full album of photographs will be shared soon!
