ScreenSkills Production Co-ordinator course in association with Sgil Cymru

The content of this course — supported by the ScreenSkills Film Skills Fund with contributions from UK film productions — gives a thorough grounding in the working practices of a Production Co-ordinator, through a theoretical approach followed by a practical simulation of the production co-ordination of a film project, based on a realistic film script. Using this script, the trainees will be taken through pre-production, principal photography and into post-production.

Methods of delivery:

The course is delivered via workshops held over two consecutive five-day weeks at Pinewood Studio Wales in Cardiff. All the participants are expected to attend each day of training in order to attain each of the learning outcomes. During the two weeks, sessions with guest speakers will be integrated into the course content in order to build networks and provide further insight into the role of the Production Co-ordinator during the learning process.
