In 2024 ‘Siop Un Stop-One Stop Shop’ (SUS-OSS), the BFI Skills Cluster for Wales resource, was launched.
The initiative is a joint partnership between a number of trainers in the sector in Wales which is led by Sgil Cymru. The resource includes a website and social media accounts, where screen industry training companies across Wales share opportunities, information and training courses. There are also shadowing opportunities available.
Siop One Stop-One Stop Shop also offers a free service to speak with our mentor, Zoë Rushton, who can offer advice and guidance to those looking to start out in the industry, or to those looking to retrain or upskill within the sector. In addition, SUS-OSS offers joint training courses with NFTS Cymru Wales in different departments throughout the year.
Siop Un Stop-One Stop Shop is funded by the British Film Institute with funding from the National Lottery Fund.
