We’re proud to announce that one of our past apprentices with BBC Cymru Wales has won at this year’s 2019 QSA awards.
Adam Neal, a former Unscripted Apprentice, won the award for Creative Industries Apprentice of the year.
Adam worked as an apprentice in the unscripted department at BBC Cymru Wales for a year before completing his apprenticeship in Summer 2018. Whilst working as an apprentice Adam worked as a researcher, runner and production management assistant. Since completing his apprenticeship Adam has continued to work for BBC Cymru Wales as a Researcher on the programme X-Ray.
The QSA awards ceremony took place in Cardiff and Vale College’s City Centre Campus on Wednesday 13th March 2019. The QSA awards celebrate the success of the QSA’s standout apprentices from the past year. The evening attracted around 200 guests, including award winners and their guests, partners and providers from the QSA, along with representatives from government, education and the business community of Wales and beyond.
The Sgil Cymru team would like to congratulate all winners at this year’s QSA Awards. It was a pleasure to celebrate the success of apprentices and employers alongside a variety of other sectors.
