Sgil Cymru welcomes 4 experienced domestic and commercial electricians to the Stepping Up programme.

Sgil Cymru’s Stepping Up programme is a rare opportunity for professionals already working in the industry to advance in their career, and also for those highly trained qualified specialists who want to move across to TV. The programme is tailored to the individual according to their needs, and each participant will undertake a placement or course lasting up to 10 weeks, receiving a training allowance for the entire period.

Following the industry-led need that was highlighted by Wales Screen/ Welsh Government Sgil Cymru have recruited 4 experienced domestic and commercial electricians to step up in their career by gaining experience as an Electrician in the TV industry.

Under the leadership and guidance of experienced sparks, our trainees will be attending workshops on industry kit familiarisation, set etiquette and health and safety on set.
